Although discussions are ongoing in respect to a new facility, the City of Toronto has installed State-of-the-Art boards and wider gates. A new coat of paint covers the interior walls and the heating has also been repaired. New lighting was also installed in the Summer of 2006.

Cadillac Fairview will move ahead with their plans to redevelop the Don Mills Centre lands however the Don Mills Civitan Arena is City owned and sits on City of Toronto Parkland and is NOT PART OF Cadillac Fairview’s holdings. As such, the Arena remains just where it is until such time as an acceptable replacement Facility is constructed within the Community.
