The NYHL Governed Select (All-Star) Program allows our more experienced participants the opportunity to compete against other House League Select Teams throughout the season. Typically, there is at least 1 extra game and 1 extra practice per week over and above the House League program. Teams are further allowed to enter into Tournaments provided that they do not conflict with their House League obligations. An additional cost is incurred in this “optional” program and those that participate must adhere to their House League obligations.

We at Don Mills Civitan expect to submit 1 Team in each age category and in some age groups we may submit 2. All participants are encouraged to try out for the teams and the try-outs are free. Teams MAY NOT be formed prior to October 1 and Coaches are not permitted to reserve spots on the Team for any player. Failure to comply with any of these provisions will nullify the eligibility of the offending team to participate in any aspect of a House League Select Program. House League fees DO NOT include Select Hockey.
